Ingredients:
  • 1kg sheets or 2 boxes of the sheets
  • 1/2 kg butter or 2 pound butter
  • 1kg nuts or 1 pound of nuts
  • 1kg or two pounds sugar
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 10 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1butter
  • 1/2 pound flour

 

Mix 4 eggs and  1/2 pound flour with 1/2 butter and make crumbs. Put them out to dry. When the crumbs are dry, mix them with nuts.

Put a couple of sheets in the baking sheets and top with crumbs and nuts on it. Repeat all directions until you run out of sheets and mix of crumbs and nuts. Cut the baklava into the squares and bake it one hour and 15 minutes on 380 degrees.

Boil sugar, lemon, and water until it is thick. Pour the hot juice on the baklava.
